I just turned 16 and bought my first car. Its a 69 coronet rt with the #s matching 440. And im trying to find out how many were made with options mine has. Its a b5 blue car with a 4 speed, ramcharger hood scoops, and factory side scoops. Any info would help thanks.

Welcome to the site youngster! They made 1,541 `69 Coronet R/T 4 spd cars and nobody can say how many were which color exactly as Chrysler didn't keep those records. You have got one of the more desireable cars that Dodge offered though and I would love to see some pics of it.

+ 1 on a hell of a first car, love to see pictures myself. One cool way to start off as a Mopar fanatic! Good luck and welcome to the forum!!

Welcome aboard, and yes, a killer B Body for the first! Make sure you respect it, though, til you get the hang of it, as if it's running right, it will be a serious handful for a newbie driver.

Guy Fawks - nice first car my man. I looked at a '69 Satty when I was starting to drive. Wound up with a 1985 T-Bird.

Wish I would have gotten the Satty - so me and my wife don't have to argue about how much money I spent on mine.

Get it out of the way first. Good plan youngster.

I know a little about them ;)

I'll assume your car is a hard top. The original sales reports are expressed in a percentage so there is some fudge factor as to the actual number produced with which option. No one will know 'exact' numbers.

As stated above, colors weren't tracked until 70 so we don't know the color break out. I have 'quite a few' 69 R/T's on file. My sample is random and not scientific but B5 is fairly common in my list. I've seen one list that shows B5 is the most common color on a 69 R/T. I know of six B5 four speeds...yours could be one of them, I don't know.

About 2,366 R/T hard tops came with the Ramcharger hood.
About 1,818 had the side scoops.

Hope this helps.

Amazing first car indeed, my second car is a 68 coronet rt!! It sure beat my 89 Buick century! Haha, I loveeeee B5
