I am swapping the Dana for an 8 3/4 so the car is now $5000, firm. PM me for the details on the car but please don't ask about it if your not serious.
Feel free to come and check it out, I've got beer.

I can't believe this hasn't sold yet!! I guess the market is really this bad off.

I thought I had it sold and/or traded about three times but no one ever follows through. I had a good price agreed on once with the Dana but I think I will have better luck selling it for less $ without. I will sell the Dana separately. This is a GREAT car for the $$. If it doesn't sell I might pull the 440 and use it in my plow truck.

If the monaco 500 sells this weekend, I would be interested.

damn thats a great deal i wish i could swing it i would love to have it,it will make someone a really nice car when done 68 is my favorite year from the 68-70 body style someones going to get one heck of a deal good luck with your sale.

People need to learn some ettiquette. I have been tire kicked 5 times now on my 65 Satellite. One guy came back twice and stayed 2 hours each time. Said he would get back with me. Never heard a thing. Send pics and they don't have the courtesy to even say they recieved them. I don't mind if they don't want the car but, just let me know. Is it that hard?

Moparker, your not kidding. One guy told me for sure he'd be out to buy the car but couldn't make it for three weeks. Then he runs into some issues with his truck but can't tell me upfront that he is or isn't still planning on making it, even when directly asked. So now I'm down three weeks just waiting, not to mention we are talking last minute here so I wasted a day waiting to figure out he wasn't coming. At the same time another guy says he's coming out last Saturday about ten times over a week (to see my Challenger) but the day he's supposed to come, he got "tied up" and couldn't call. Now he wants to see it this Saturday instead. I might tell him yes and get "tied up".

Are you sure you want to pull a # matching motor? It should stay with the car.

I'd still have the engine and the car, just have the engine in my plow truck and the car tucked away in the garage.

yeah the economy is a proverbial swirl, but I gotta say I like the trailer just as much lol!:headbang:

MOPARKER, Well said. I have experienced the same frustrations. What times we live in. Oh well. Vinny

I wish they would delete old ads when it is sold! I was interested in the 68,read all the posts then found out it was sold! Hey admins.Delete the old ads or set it up so the member who posted it can.Why keep reposting it after 3 mos. or older!

I was getting ready to make my move too! That thing was a driver!

Yes I agree. I don't like that after a couple days I can't edit or delete a post.

Hey moparsteve, this thing has been beat to death. We don't delete adds around here, we, as Moderators, and Administraion have better things to do then chase adds around all day long, and mark them "sold". Do you know how much time that would take on a daily basis?
And it creates new traffic from web searches such as Google and sites like that. And from that we get new members.
When a car or car part is sold, all the seller has to do is mark it SOLD!

It's as easy as that! :cheers2:
