Mopar only show participants

I have to agree that when I go to mopar show, I don't wanna see fords and chevys. I can do that any other weekend around the state of Connecticut.

"thats all those pukes do is talk crap about MOPARS."

OK, let me get this straight. If I own a brand of car other than Mopar, I am a PUKE? And in all the posts on this forum I have never heard a Mopar owner say a disparaging word about a Chevrolet, Ford or other non Mopar car?
What are we, a bunch of 3rd graders in the school yard who never learned that there are other opinions and likes and dislikes besides our own?
Try some tolerance, friend, you might learn something..........

You didn't get it staight at all, very far from. If you go to a rock concert do want to hear 3 sets of rock music and one set of rap? No one is saying that they don't enjoy seeing all brands at an open show just not at a supposed all mopar show. Nothing disparing was said. I would never try to enter a chevy or ford show with one of my mopars. If I was driving by one and stopped not knowing it was a brand specific show and they turned me away I would respect that, park elswhere and enjoy the show. One persons opinion (puke comment) shouldn't refect on the rest of us don't call us all 3rd graders.

i will clear it up a little. i have been to numerous mopar shows and walked up to talk to other brands which were really nice cars, and have said this " yeah mopars are not my cup of tea, dont really like them. then why did they come to a all mopar show. i know some other people also that just slam mopars, and then i see them at a mopar show. i love mopars but im also a car lover. there is tons of cars that i would love to own. i guess i ran into the wrong people. if your gonna show up then dont rag on the mopars. and about the other brands, i havent knocked any other american muscle car out there on this site. and if i go to all ford or all chevy car show i dont show up in my plymouth and put down the other cars. as there opinions go fine you dont like mopars that fine...but then why would you go to a all mopar show. just like you said they can have there opinion...just like i can have mine.:sFl_america2:

Appreciate the comments. Was I imagining it when the president of the club putting on the event stated that the flyer for the event said that there was a class for non Mopars? Your choice, as is mine, is to not attend the event if it upsets you. Another option is to join the club and add your opinion, as he also said that the club voted on this matter. Still another option is to hold your own event and make it Mopar specific.
I certainly didn't mean to infer that we ALL are 3rd graders; just that some of us anonymously sling names instead of adding to the conversation, as we all USED to do in 3rd grade.......

Which car was yours?

I brought the show with the other officers. To answer your question, I own the 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Hauling the MIM Trailer. The day for us started at 5;30AM and the trailer was returned to its resting spot at 7PM.

Unfortunately most of the officers are unable to bring a car due to the responsibilities of setting up the show and tearing it down. I will say if you come out to my personal Cruiz-In on the Berlin Tpke on Saturday nights you will find anyone of my 17 Mopars or my other 3 NON-Mopars (IH 1310 AWD Dump Truck, XR4Ti and a 5.0 Capri) Be aware if you do come out to the Cruiz-In I do allow NON-Mopars in.

Do you advertise this as a brand specific cruise? If not why would he have to be aware? I believe that almost everyone who has posted here has stated that we enjoy seeing all makes of cars when thats what you are in the mind set to see.

Yes both my Cruiz-In and the MIM Club shows both specifie Non Mopars are welcome. Mopars do get the special treatment (Mopars are never turned away) but ALL are welcome to experience the Mopar Heritage.

We at MIM want to thank all that come to our shows and make them the best they can be. If you would like to share your ideas, concerns or opinions please join the club and come to the shows and meetings. Our best ideas come from our members. Again Thank you to everyone that shared there opinions. See you at our next show September 16th Artioli Dodge Enfield, CT

I think I have been to it several times (At McDonalds?).
Also I took a look at your flier for the show and saw up top it said "All Mopar Car & Truck Show" and down below it says "Non-Mopar Show Class". I think some of the people that went to the show had never seen your show flier and had heard about the show from "word of mouth".That explains alot of the comments heard that day. I don't think they knew that the other brands were invited and never ventured near them to see a parking area desingnated for "other Makes" (and some parked down with tht E bodies).
