Yeah! the first number in the sequence is suppose to be a 3 like on the vin tag, fender tag and build sheet, but on the rad support and trunk lip it statrs with a 2 and the rest of the numbers are the same.

Cars prior to the A 12's didn't have the oval openings for the gas filler.

What I should have said was A-12's only had oval filler holes , and NO black door handle buttons

Congrats on the sale. Somebody got more car than they paid for.

Original 4 speed dana car with no torque boxes??? Being 4 speed should have had front and rear torque boxes. If it was an auto car it could have possibly left without them but not a 4 speed car.

You have gotten some bad info somewhere. To begin with torque boxes are all over the place with regards to what cars got them and in what years.
1966-67 only Hemi cars and converts got them and some Hemi cars did not get them.
Converts were the only cars that got front boxes until 1970.
69 six pack cars never got them as they were coded as 383 cars and all of the 440/Dana stuff came in the A12 package and they were not included. You will never see a 69 six pack car 4 speed or auto with rear torque boxes.
1970 was the first year for torque boxes on six pack cars.

I have never ran across any nor owned any 4 speed dana cars that didnt. I had a 71 6 pack charger that had them front and rear. The 68 hemi gtx i have did not come with front torque boxes but has rears. The convertible obviously has them front and rear. I guess ive never fooled with any a12 cars personally just found it kind of odd being 4 speed dana not having them regardless. Guess a12s were pretty much send them down the line and the hell with it let em twist lol.

To be precise, NO '67-70 B-body 4-spd 440 4bbl or 6bbl/6 pack cars received torque boxes from the factory. The ONLY exception to this, was the convertible versions... They didn't start receiving them until 1971.
