I want to upgrade the front suspension on my 68 charger. I am using the stock K member. Anyone know of a good lower control arm that will except the factory sway bar? I really like the QA1 but it wont work with my factory sway bar. I find a lot of different upper control arms but not many for the lower one.
Thanks

Qa1 should work with your factory sway bar
If you read the details part on their it says Part #52308 is only recommended for 1962-70 B-Body applications with no sway bar or E-Body sway bar and QA1 K-Member #52315. Part #52308 is designed to work with the E-Body sway bar and the 1971-72 B-Body sway bar.

Why not just replace the bushing on your stock part & add a stiffening plate from PST ? A tubular upper arm with more caster would be better.

I have one lower control arm that is bent (like so many were) seems to me cost wise it would be about as cheep just to get an after market set as I can only find used ones(original). And don't want to get another bent one.

You can probably get a good used arm, replace both bushings & add the stiffener on both arms, for less.

Did the same on mine

can you tell a big difference? My front end will be apart soon.

I'm not up and running yet, I'm doing a ground up. I went to Firm Feel and talked to Dick from there. With what we talked about and from what I learned, I've had nothing but positive remarks, comments on what I did. Other members can chime in as I know many have done the same. Dick at Firm Feel is a wealth of information and knows his stuff.

FYI- Items I got from them:

Upper tubular control arms, re-enforcement kit for LCA and K member, P/S gear box rebuild and upgrade, P/S pump rebuild, and bigger front sway bar, and torsion bars.

It looks as though I'm in the same position as you! Any leads?
