Hello all, mopar man for a long time but looking for some clarification. When looking at b-body parts there seems to be a difference between 62-65 and 66up. Are there chassis diffs?

Pretty much, everything changed in 66. All the sheet-metal, engine location, etc....

About the only things that are constant are the front suspension components except the k frame, idler arm, steering box, etc. The rear end changed in 65 to non tapered axles and remained the same until b bodies changed in 71. Of course 65 is in the middle of the change from cable operated 727s.

Welcome to FBBO from CT. If I don't ask, someone else will - got any photos of your ride(s)?

Thank you Glenwood, i am getting ready to order some header back exhaust components and some makers only supply 66up.

The kframe is about 1.5-2" closr to the firewall on 66-70 I believe. This leaves you more room on a 65 but then issues pop up with power steering box clearance with some header brands.

Welcome aboard to FBBO btw.

Yes and on some brands the pipes will hit the pitmanarm and draglink and so on... I had a set of Hooker competition headders on my ´64 and the previous owner hade re bent the pitman arm and idler arm to clear the headder pipes.... stupid... The car was very nervous on the road and turning radius was more worse than a bus...
