This battery cable is only intended for STOCK applications. Will not fit HEMI. Alternators outputting 60 amps or more will destroy this cable. As will batteries with more than 750 CCA. High Torque mini starters draw too much amperage and will overload this cable, causing it to fail. Also not intended for engines with higher than 10.25 to 1 compression ratio. Headers create too much heat and will melt the cable routing next to the starter. Again, this is designed for STOCK applications ONLY. There is NO WARRANTY if any of these conditions exist when installing this cable.

If you need a concours cable, just shoot us a message. They run about $149.

these cables look the same to me from all the different suppliers.....what gives? Some are $27.95 all the way up to $149.99 but appear the same....why?

here it is......anyone using the cheapy cable with the mini starter and a 850 batt?

Got one from Tamraz $50 IIRC, been on there for 2 years with headders. Yeah where they crimp at the battery terminal leaves something to be desired but other than that it is holding up fine. Oh yeah mini starter and an 850 CCA battery.

I don’t remember where I got my new one or what it cost - I just know it wasn't any $150 cable. I have a high torque mini, headers and 1000 cca battery. Everything’s been fine for over a year and a half. I couldn’t tell you the difference - but I wouldn’t buy the one that tells you all the stuff you quoted. Get something midrange and move on.

NOPE!!!!!!!!
The wire is crimped in place poorly on the positive terminal. Mine smoked the first time I tried it, starter ran slow. I wiggled the connection and the flippin wires pulled out. I tried to solder it in and the terminal desinigrated.

Get a good one that is molded to the terminal end.

I used a cheap one with a mini starter and it melted the connection at the battery terminal during the first crank.

It"s not hard. If you have the time, make your own cables. I"ve done it many times...

The difference is probably Aluminized Copper VS Solid Copper.

Judging from the disclaimer, it has to be cheap Chinese junk and I would not touch it with a ten foot pole.

I am using one like that, got it off of ebay 5 years ago, and I had to lengthen it to get around my headers to my mini starter (Dodge Dakota starter), and I have not had any issues with it so far. My batt is only 720 cca and 9.5:1 on my 340.

hmm..... well, it showed up today, the cheap one, ... i installed it and guess what...it wont reach the terminals on my mini starter....
