good day I am from Mexico City

at this moment I use M / T drag slick 28x10.5
my engine is a
440 .030 over
0 deck 11.5 compression
edelbrock performer rpm heads
intake edelbrock performer rpm
carburetor proform race series 950
comp cams solid xe282s-10
DUR .050 244/252
LIFT .520 / .540
rocker arms full roller 1.6
transmission coan with transbrake low band
torque converter tci drag race 9" 4200

What kind of driving do you usually do? Highway, race only, street strip? Not too big of a difference between the 2. 4.10 is what I chose when I did mine, 28” tire not too much street driving

thanks for your attention race only

I recommend you use an online calculator to see what rpm you’ll be going through the traps with using each gear ratio. See which one best fits your set up

Well if it’s held together so far I’d go for 4.30 & maybe a rear tire change also. Somebody’s probably going to ask- current e.t. & mph.

in Mexico we run at a height of 2700 meters above sea level my car weighs 3900 pounds the best time I achieved was 13.6 1/4 mile
the miles per hour I do not remember since I lost my ticket
the car had no traction
newly installed caltracs and adjustable shock absorbers

Ya sounds like you’re having big traction issues, I ran faster times than that with a basically stock 440 with headers and street tires.

I have serious problems I do not know how to upload a video so they can see what I'm talking about

I run a 4:30 Dana. 4100 with me in it. Ran best of 10.14 at 133 on motor.
I have a street lynx 4 link in the rear.

Corro un 4:30 Dana. 4100 conmigo en eso. Ran lo mejor de 10.14 a 133 en el motor.
Tengo un enlace de calle lynx 4 en la parte trasera. [/ QUOTE]

Woow nothing to do with my car many congratulations
I think I'll decide the 4.30
and see if it improves with the new suspension

First thought is taller slicks, for sure..

neither 4:10 or 4:30 will help your traction problems
make them worse
First make sure your subframe is tied together so you do not bend that BEAUTIFUL car
driveline hoop?
pinion snubber?
what rear springs?
what torsion bars up front 6 cyl is the old school way
still have the sway bar up front- strip only loose it
street do not remove
posi or open rear end
if posi does it leave straight
open rear end does one tire go up in smoke?
