Fiberglass hood pins

the pins are good, but the flip type lock hasp, rings, are junk, unless they quit making them in chincheena out of pot metal.

I now use the torsion ring style, Jegs or Summit? Work fine. Years ago used flat aluminum Dzus on my Arrow. Had 6 on the hood, 147 MPH. Had the modified screw driver handy or even a quarter.

I just run these basic hood pins. They work fine for me. Ron

i use dzus fasteners. i like the flush mount and you can paint them to match the hood. as said before, a quarter can open them, so no need for special tool.

I plan on installing the safety latch on my fiberglass hood just for piece of mind to go along with the A12 hood pins. There's a lot of stress up there at high speeds.

I have these on my a body, course I wanted something lockable since it's also a street car. Aerolatch summit sells them, have both with locks and with out.
