Sorry all if this is a mistake, wasn't sure where to post this question.
I'm looking to buy a 70 rr.
The one i found has a n96 hood and all parts and functions as should.
I wanted to know about what the hood is worth with all n96 parts minus air cleaner assy.
Hood is super clean. Consider it a scuff and paint . If easier maybe a price on just the hood alone as cannot give a great discription of other parts, they are all working and driver quality in appearance.
Any help would be great and super appreciated. I want to buy the car but can only afford if I recoup some money for the hood and n96 parts.
I have no knowledge of 70 back b bodies but really want a 70 RR.

Found this one

The 'Market Place' is mainly for selling, buying/wanted and is not for asking questions about what you need or what something is worth. Go here https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/ and familiarize yourself with how the site is laid out. Scroll down some and you'll see a heading for 68-70 and that would be the correct forum for asking questions. Hope this helps....

I'd ballpark $1000-$1500 for the hood & components. I suggest you see if you can scrounge up the extra cash somewhere....sell a kidney if you have to. You may regret not having that hood in the future. In my opinion, the 70-71 airgrabber/ramcharger hoods are the coolest hood every produced by anyone.

As somebody who has watched for '70 air grabber setups since buying my car back in '08, a complete setup in good shape tends to be priced between 1500-3000.

Thanks,
I am looking at the car again tomorrow.
I know now that the car is a true n96 car and has the fender tag so i am sure i need to keep it with the car even though the motor isnt matching.
But it is a true 4 speed, n96 car.
Oh the fun to be had.

unfortunately there worth what ever a person will spend on one

Might have a N96 set-up for sale soon... If it doesn't go with the Road Runner I'm selling ( which isn't a N96 car since it is a H51 air conditioning car )..

My 70' R.R. is also a H51 A/C car so it just has the standard hood. I am thinking I may make this car a 70' A12 clone as if Chrysler carried the lift off hood six pack cars into the next year. Glass life off hood is way cheaper than an N96.

I bought my AMD N96 hood from Stephens Performance in Alabama.
Around $699
It's beautiful and came with the scoop.
Very happy.
