Fellas, and Mistress LeAnna, it's days like today that make me glad to be retired. 2 feet of snow overnight. Geezzzz. Went out and fed the donkey butts, and sheep sheep, the chick-o-lickins have feed and water, the duck ducks are wallowing in their pool and the big dog had fun romping in the snow. Now it's breakfast in front of a roaring fire. Watching world from inside. How's your day going??

Getting dried out....

Yeah, everything went south yesterday. And I mean it, I live in the lower snow belt area of southern Ontario............ And, there still is not enough snow to take my old junk sled for a rip!! this morning.
It has been a year of freezing rain and above normal temps, had a very late thunder and lightning storm near the end of November, and as the farmers almanac stated, a long mild winter to February , and seeing it is the 20th already.... they were pretty close.
Minus 15 c this Am, minus 22 c tonight, left the shop heat on at 10 c last night, cant ride the sled, might as well go work on the Charger....

Getting ready to head to Central Pennsylvania for a Monday AM delivery. From what I can see, not so much the snow, but tomorrow morning is supposed to be 4 degrees. Yikes.

It's 4 degrees here right now. We have had a mild winter right up until yesterday. Absent this storm, it should continue so....

Heavy rain and lots of wind here ..... heats on in the garage, working on the dart today

I'm 12 miles North of Pittsburgh. The lower edge of all the snow was about 40 miles north of Pittsburgh. All rain and 33 deg. here yesterday, 3/4" of rain it which would have been 8" of snowfall so says weather folks on TV. Did get about 4" of snow overnight. Lots of ice underneath from all the rain. Temps also dropped into the mid teens with lots of wind today. Good day to load up fireplace and watch this afternoons football playoffs.

6* and wind blowing pretty good ..about a foot of snow in the area, less where I live, so it's not bad. The wind is slowing down. The temp. is not going up today and tonight will be below zero, so wind chill will be brutal. Single digits for today and tomorrow. I'll snow blow the driveway and sidewalk later when the wind slows down a bit. I live in a Buffalo, NY suburb so nothing to get worried about, we have had MUCH worse. Seven feet in a two day storm a few years ago.

Only 6" of snow here in Northwest Connecticut after an initial prediction of up to 14". Got the driveway snow-blowed just before 6AM. The overnight sleet has turned to freezing rain which is currently coming down at a good clip. Roads are horrible as I just returned from my usual breakfast with the guys at the Riverton General Store. 24 degrees now with "significant icing" expected in my area (in excess of 1/2") for the next several hours. Not good. Fire is going here too. I'm definitely in for the day. Stay safe everyone...

Rain East of Philadelphia. Waiting for the Arctic blast later today to freeze everything. The wood stove is on duty in Maple Shade New Jersey!

Lack of a proper record distribution deal did them in.

A few inches of snow in our area but still not enough for sledding. Glad I sold them!
Just worked out and sipping on a coffee near the fire this morning.

I recall that storm. Bad juju. I grew up just across the NY/PA line right near I-90. Remember wild winters.
