Chopping Wood

I never shovelled snow ether that might be fun too! But here I want to see half naked girls I go 15-25 mins down the street and there's boobys everywhere I don't think that is the case up there ! But I do hate the beach it's so freaking hot ! And only the huge fat lady s ever loose there tops ! The hot skinny girls never ever loose there tops even if you wish and wish it never happens,atleast till you take matters to your own hands and bust out the scissors and cut the bottom s first then the top 99% of the time you get full blown titty s and she won't slap you ether! Her hands are firmly placed over her bottom holes !
Well let's do this we can switch I'll chop wood and shovel snow you come install and uninstall my hurricane shutters then shoow a gator out of your pool or garage! We sent talking a little ol 5 footer ether freaking Godzilla s offspring 11-12 sometimes I've had to poke a 15+ footer with the stick! But on the better side when there bigger they are slower the ones you got to watch are the 7-9 footers those little pricks are quick and have a bad attitude! I lost a few sticks with one of them! Is it sad that FL. Police have to have special gator training to remove gators! Bet that's not on most job applications! I've learned to gators love the taste of democrats! Why? Most can't defend themselves! And black people can walk on water when a gator is involved I've seen some stuff!
Oh and don't be cheap on bullets if you shoot one make sure it's dead before you load it in your truck when you get home your going to have a pissed off gator and if you miss to try shooting him you are going to hit your truck! Seen that too!

So yeah sounds like a straight deal let me know
I think playing with Gators sounds kinda fun, I'd love to hunt wild Hogs as well but you can keep that summer weather. Been there twice in the summer months, not for me.

I agree with the poster that said you handle the wood
4-5 times at a min.,
BUT; in many cases something associated with doing it
like me it's 8-9-10 {13 things} times, in the long haul

1) drive to then hike in & cut up or fall the tree
{unless you have it on your own property, still have to go to it & cut it up}

2) limb it/buck it & cut the rounds,
small enough to move or fit your wood stove

3) move/drag the rounds to the truck/trailer
{because you can never get close enough to skip the step}

4) load the truck/trailer, drive home

5) empty the truck/trailer
{I usually just load the splitter right from the trailer/truck, try to skip a step when possible}

6) get the maul out or the splitter, set it up
{gas/electric or hydraulic if you're lucky enough to own or rent one}

7) load the splitter

8) pick up the split wood & stack it
{8a) if your unlucky & have to deliver it to an elderly relative, 8b clean up afterwards}

9) go out & load it in a bag or your arms & finally bring it in to burn

10) clean out the ashes, from the fireplace or woodstove

11) clean the chimney/flews

Up here almost everyone burns wood,
it's not fun, it's a pain in the ***,
in many cases, unless you have someone else do it for you
or pay for more expensive gas/electric to heat your house etc.
it's a necessary PITA, 10 cords of wood a season for me,
but mores so it was mostly all for my elderly relatives...
I don't burn much wood, I have an extremely efficient heater
& my dad has asthma & he always complains about it
effecting his breathing...

God I hate anything to do with firewood

I read something more people die/injured,
up here from shoveling snow & firewood "related stuff",
than anything else...

Need to get you a Harmon pellet stove. 40lb bags, 50 to a pallet, 1 ton per pallet. Use pallets each winter and a pallet costs me $236.00.

Burned wood for almost 40 yrs, longer if you count time with parents.
Had enough, but it did keep you in shape.
Only took out 1 pickup rear window in all those years:rofl:
I could always keep up or beat any splitter time wise with a maul, except maybe that last one.:eek:
Still have the woodburner, and goof around with maybe doing 1 -2 cords a year. I keep it useable for when the power goes out, but not needed. I have a generator, and that's when I go to work anyway.:lol:

Just ain't gonna happen with North Carolina blackjack oak.

I'm not a wood burner but guy splitting wood interesting. Wife found this.

always see wood being split using a wood that splits easily, especially on T V . try that with red oak , or green elm ---you`ll be crying for a splitter. Blackjack with a lot of knots in it is rough too .

It is a lot of work but I have a 2 huge advantages.

#1 I work for a sawmill and have logs (no branches) dropped off in my field and only pay for the delivery.

#2 If I run out I have access to lots of acreage and have a Can Am Comander that will get you to wherever the wood is.

This year was my first full year of heating with my boiler and was a tad off on my supply so I've been hitting the woods regularly. I throw the mull and chainsaw in the bed and scout for standing dead trees preferably 8" or less so there is no splitting:thumbsup:. Next year I'm hoping to build a mega splitter that splits a whole 30" log in one pass with a conveyor belt that loads the truck... I'm only 42 but it's still a ton of work.

First 5 years I was married we heated with wood. Built a small carport for my wood, 8 foot by 16 foot by 6 foot high, when it was full I had the 5 cords I needed for the winter.
