68-70 rear window trim clips

Put my back window in about 2 months ago. Tried to put trim on found out new clips were bent wrong. They wouldn’t grab the lip of the trim. Had to pull back window to pull all clips and bend them correct. Window goes back in wed with trim. Beware.

For the risk of being Capt. Obvious it's always a good idea to pre-fit these aftermarket products before you go all in. In my experience most of the aftermarket products today require some tweaking to make them work before you do a final install on them, sorry to say but your not the first to run into this issue... Well at least it wasn't too much of a fubar to correct. Mistakes are how we learn brother :thumbsup:

I agree. I’m not the window installer. He didn’t notice it prior to install.
 
Brother... I feel your pain. I just went through this last summer. Bought a car that was half finished. Should of known... Every piece of trim was on the car except the rear window.

We talked about just gluing it in but felt it was right to do it the right way. Gonna give me a chance to try 0000 steel wool on some scratches I missed.
