I recently spotted a 70 coronet sitting off the road while driving for my new job. I stopped by after work, found a phone number, and called the owner. He says, "Yeah that's mine, stop and look at it if you want. Call me back if your intetested." Turns out it's a WM21 car. It needs a lot of work, but it looks to be mostly there. Comes with a 383 and trans, but no front seats. I couldn't open the trunk. He thinks it was an auto, but it's has a 4 speed hump and pedals. No title or any paperwork. I just wanted some other opinions on this thing. Worth pursuing? Start clearing out a spot for it? Chalk it up to a neat story?

One of the best looking mopars in my opinion. If you can afford it snag it. The fact that it actually has the hood is kind of cool. This is the car I always wanted.

It is a v-Code car. He just has a 383 that he'll throw in. Maybe that's what it had in it when he got it.

It looks a little rough but I've seen worse. Being a 440-6 car, it's definitely worth consideration depending on what you can get it for

Has it got a dana in it? 440 4sp would be a dana, 383 would be 8 3/4, 440 auto could be either.

Are you askin or bragging??? if your able to work on it or pay to have it worked on git it!! Check how hard it is to git some paper work on it first

Get it to me in Alabama, I don't need any paper work other than a notarized bill of sale.

It has a 8 3/4.

It would need quarters, front pan patch maybe replace, lower and front front fender work. I couldn't see trunk or rear frame rails, front rails looked good. Some spots around the back glass. To start with, maybe more

I'm not bragging, I just wanted some feedback on if it's worth looking into getting it. I can do the work, not for a few years because my family is growing, but I can store it for now.

Has anyone gone through the certification of ownership process to get a title.

I have to ask: Is that a Q5 Coronet, off to the left side of the 1st pic ? I would be VERY Interested in that, if so, Thanks...

A real V code car is worth chasing. It should be money in the bank. All this is price dependent. I'm usually cheap, but would chase it up to about 9K as described. Hope this gives you an idea. I chased a 69 Charger R/T matching numbers except the engine to 14K a while back and then told a friend about it. The guy sold it to him for 19K. He flipped it within a week for 24K. 2 months later I found the matching engine and sold it to the same friend for 3K. I don't know what he made on that. I know I made 2500.

Wow that's awesome. Ok that's very helpful, he priced it to me for much less than 9k. I wasn't planning on another project for awhile but they're getting harder to find.

You have run up on someone that's a little out of touch, you can poor mouth a little but don't push it to hard.

good luck hope it works out. Auto gets 8 3/4 Dana was an option only 4 spd got the dana

That was one of the first things I checked. I should be a sure grip...hopefully.
