they physically interchange yes. there are slight variances, but they will.

the wheel well openings are bigger on the 73 - 74 fenders.

body lines are slightly different and you will see it where the fender meets the door

I have an oddball 71 on my 72 and its the same (fitment wise) but the turn signal marker is different.

As stated they will fit but they will look a bit off ! Not enough for the in trained eye to tell .
71 one year only
72 one year only
Only difference between the two are the marker light!
73-74 are identical!
Marker light is same as 72 !
Body lines are slightly different at dog leg and as stated the wheel opening is a bit bigger (as long as you have both you can't really tell!)
