Good article over at Hagerty. This one is a bolt in for a small block Chevy, but I'm sure other stuff will be coming down the pike. Big bucks right now, but I expect this will change too:

Good luck finding the drain plug.
Are those blue fittings on top for cooling?

That is interesting, of course you will have to fill the trunk with batteries... I will stick with my "old gas burning engine"...

Are those fittings for an air compressor or hydraulic pump?:D

No, they connect directly to you wallet and suck it dry!

The cost is ridiculous at 25-35K, but I would think the biggest issue are the batteries. Where would they fit and how to install them so the car handles well and still has room for luggage, etc.? Batteries and heavy and large and that is why cars like the Tesla have the entire floor made to hold the batteries. This keeps the center of gravity down low and helps handling.

Car freshener that smells like gas and a recording of a big block mopar and the swap is complete!!!

Wait until you price the battery, controller and cables.
Doug

A Partial fill where the engine and transmission used to be to keep the balance going or improve it some. If, IF, I was to take on such a project, like a rusted out floor muscle car, I’d have floor redone to carry some batteries. Of course, this would be a “Money is no object” follie!
