Hi folks, one last shot at finding some 413 'MW' 11 to 1 stock bore pistons please.

Best wishes from John

Good luck! You will need it. (No offense intended).
The custom piston manufacturers can build anything you want. But you will pay CUSTOM prices.
Maybe do some investigation into other engines that have the bore size you need (Buick? Olds?) and can bush the small end of your 413 rods.
On the other hand..... probably not 2orth the effort.

While you can sometimes substitute rings from other manufacturers you can’t do this with pistons due to the location of the wrist pin.

Agreed, you would have to compare compression height, but standard bore 401 Buick, and +.060 394 old are the same bore as a standard bore 413. I'm not sure either of those is any more available than a 413.
If it was my 413, I'd bore it to standard 426, I think piston selection might be better.

I guess that's 60 over, no block thickness problems at 60?

Well I'm running a 426 maxwedge at .070 over (standard 440) with 12 1/2 arias pistons (but really closer to an actual11 1/2)and not having any problems. The rumor is that there was a lot of nickel in the maxwedge blocks.

The same problem exists with 426 wedge pistons. They need to be custom made unless someone has a set from way back in the day.
