So I was at ZMAX dragstrip this weekend & this happened

This is what NHRA has come down to !! Up next folks, mobility scooter drags - 16 to a class, 5 classes based on voltage.
 
The left pro stock off the card to have these do battle. Oh boy!
 
Ah…actually guys this was a paid advertisement for Camping World. They helped pay the purse & in return we get to watch a couple of Motorhomes do an exhibition run. But if you want Camping World to go away we can start a petition

oh & they gave out two $500 gift cards to lucky fans.
Camping World has a retail center right at the track by the highway. They do a lot for the fans & racers.

Even motorhome drivers want some fun

it's all a gimmick anyway, support for the title sponsor
of the whole series
& it's during downtime
there's a shitload of downtime always now

nothing about it 'is stock' not the looks of the bodies, engine, chassis etc.
hell you can run a GM in a Dodge or Ford if you want or visa versa

they are the bitchy-ist whinny-ist bunch I've seen in years
(especially miss-piggy, handed **** on a platinum platter, & she credits God,
when should be kissing Ricky Jone's ***, for tuning & building the best cars)

I used to be a diehard Pro-stock supporter

Major fan of NHRA for years. Not much anymore. I just watch You Tube highlights.
 
Talk her down all you want she can drive.
Remember when her pro mod burst into flames and she got it stopped safely? Then was ready to drive the PS car right after that? She’s not scared of them.

How many times has she won on a hole shot?
The 4X champ wasn’t an accident.
She credits “my guys” and the lord constantly.
Who is a better driver that has similar accomplishments?

Yes the class has degraded for sure. The 10,500 RPM limit and any engine/body is a joke.

We need more races where you can watch the start, wander off to buy a coke and hotdog and come back to watch the finish.
 
We lost the NHRA nationals in Phoenix. The track is sold.
I liked going but would have turned my back on the motor home thing.
Now Tucson is the closest track after next April.
 
Im sure my van/rv would easily beat those high dollar motor homes.
