My water pump pulley got damaged in the process of removing it. I am looking to get another one but the dimensions aren't the same as the ones listed for sale. My pulley is 2 groove and about 5 1/4" in diameter. The ones I see listed are 5 7/8" diameter. The depth is about 1 7/8". Is it from an A/C car or something else?

A picture would be helpful, but it sounds like an AC pulley…

The only dual groove water pump pullies I can think of are A100 V8 and 60's pickups.

I sold a guy a dual groove A100 WP pulley, he was so happy, he had looked everywhere and couldn't find one.

BB AC cars have one belt running the just the water pump and idler, the dual belts are on AC and alternator

Photos of those two here

I've got 2 double groove pulleys, and they both measure 5 7/8"

I have owned 4 original big block A-body cars and many big block B-body cars and none of them had a double groove water pump pulley. Are you sure that you needing a crankshaft pulley and not the water pump pulley?

Here’s one of mine with what looks like original paint. I can’t remember where I got it. Not sure if that color was specific to big or small blocks, but I probably got if off of a mid to late 70's vehicle.

If I may ask, how did the pulley get damaged during removal ?
It was frozen to the WP. I had to use a mallet to finally get it off.

It's been on the car since I bought it almost 25 years ago and it worked all this time. I don't really want to change anything.

It is smaller than 5 7/8. About 5 3/8". It's been on the car since I bought it over 20 years ago and has worked fine.

Update, I did straighten it out so it is good to go. Still wondering what the original application is though.
