I’m late to the thread.
But is that catch correct? It looks like one from a screen door from Home Depot. Are newer or later versions spring loaded?
My 68 is like the link to the ad from Mopar John.
Non spring loaded with an 1 1/2 spread for screws.
Just curious if you guys with more knowledge have seen that type?

Yes, yours is correct for very early-build cars. I’ve had some in the past.
