My build date is 12/66. you wouldn't know where I can get a jack with an earlier date or close to it, would you?is that the only part that shows the date code?

That one would not have a date code as it was before they started date coding them.My build date is 12/66. you wouldn't know where I can get a jack with an earlier date or close to it, would you?
good news! however, what would be your best guess as to what the color of the jack was then? grey parts or Black or both. That one would not have a date code as it was before they started date coding them.
Typically black but I have seen some Dodge ones blue from the factory in 66 b-body…don’t know if any made it to 67..good news! however, what would be your best guess as to what the color of the jack was then? grey parts or Black or both.
I have some more info on the date codes. If a 1967 was built in 66, the jack would not have a date code on it yet. They actually started putting the date codes on the cars built in 67 going forward. It is also possible to have your jack painted either in grey or black. All depending the inventory on hand that the factory had at the time.Yes on tubular type masts it’s on the rivet. The “Y” type mast have it on the lower edge of the mechanism.
This for a 1967 GTX, not sure about all B body cars.I have some more info on the date codes. If a 1967 was built in 66, the jack would not have a date code on it yet.
