RIP Norm,
Wherever you may be, everybody will know your name

RIP Norm. He was a dandy. 76? You mean I only have 6 more years?

R.I.P.

He was a funny guy, great actor.
RIP George.

RIP. Outside of Cheers, I remember him in a Columbo episode.

Rest in peace George. Norm Peterson was one of those rare characters in TV history who will always be remembered.

I made a comment at my Electrical Supply shop over five years ago about how nice it was to go to a place where everyone knows your name......and to this day, I still get a rousing "ROGER" every time I walk in the door.
Other customers look around as if to say "Who the hell is that guy?"

I filmed it once because my wife didn't believe me.

Rest in peace! Loved that show and I always looked forward to his opening line. They’d ask what he was up to and one of his best was “ my ideal body weight if I was six foot seven!

Great actor!

I've been using he term "Normed" to refer to a situation where a group of people call your name when you enter a room.

Not sure how universally accepted that is, but it should be.

I've been Normed a couple of times in the past month.

May he rest in peace

Kind of Ironic.,,,, he passes on the anniversary of the last day that Cheers aired in 1993

Wow has it really been that long . Dang im getting old
