I bought this car from the daughter of the original owner. He was a mechanic at Beaudry's of Tucson for 40 years and purchased the car new.
318 with pushbutton 727
I have enjoyed driving it since 2014 and was planning on rebuilding as more fun daily driver doing some upgrades with advice from Gary Pavlovich.
Retirement looms and travel is in my future so exploring selling this.
Rebuilt transmission 2018.
Spare parts include extra tail light lenses, cables, original distributor, Weiand 7503 intake (not installed)
Replaced speedo with a functioning used one. Dash pad remove (have foam to rebuild.)
Factory AC car with original V twin compressor removed. Have original condensor.
Arizona original rust free. Located in Tucson.
Repainted in late 80s.

Checking for interest and value to see if selling is a good idea for me.

'58 or '59 steering wheel. Original one likely cracked and was replaced.

Interesting discovery. I wonder how hard it is to find a 62 steering wheel.

There's a couple things wrong here but I will correct them for you and give you a chance because you are a new member. I moved this to the proper forum. We have a "What's it Worth" forum that you can properly post in so I moved it there. Sales aren't allowed there, so that information has been removed. Also, don't post any personal information directly on the site, like phone numbers, e mail addresses, home addresses, or Pay Pal account information. Scammers love that kind of stuff. Send it through a Personal Message only. Also, you will need to read the posted rules for the What's it Worth forum so your thread doesn't get removed. Here's a link:

That is a correct wheel for a 62 but usually come on the police and fleet vehicles. Never seen one on a Fury. There are some threads in the 62-65 forum about them. As far as value I will let someone else start off as the east coast and west coast prices for 4 doors seem to vary a lot.

It looks like a nice solid car. Too bad it's a 4 door though. That really narrows the buyers that may be interested. 62's are also not as popular than the more stylish 64's and 65's. I always estimate low and high to get an average. It is worth more than $2000 and less than say $8000. $5000 is right in the middle. I would say it won't bring much more than $5000.
