What color or finish should be used on the front rotors and rear brake drums on a Superbird? Also color/finish for calipers.
Thank you in advance

That really depends upon the use of the car - if it's going to be OE points competition worthy, then we need strictly factory finishes.

But if you're doing this for Sunday Cruise-In car shows.....make the finished look natural but protect the bare cast surfaces also - either with matt clear coats, or natural coloured metal-protectant like POR-15 or similar paints.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people strive for Concours type finishes, only to end up driving the car through all sorts of weather and not maintaining the finish under the car afterwards.

Depending on the wheel option I believe the face of the drum got painted red.

I will paint them with "cast iron" spray paint. I would like them to look correct and not rust. Not a show car but I still would like to do the best I can.
Thanks for your help.

The rally wheel optioned cars got the brake drums daubed with orange.
Knowing Chrysler I wouldn't be surprised if it was left over engine paint.

Iran? I know ChryCo did what it needed to do to get the cars off the line but never heard of that one
