So sick of rain!

No wind or breeze today. It's hot even in the shade.

I used to work for an RV dealer.

Any camper needs to be resealed annually. It dries, it shrinks, and it cracks...and it leaks.

Use the correct sealant - NOT that stupid flex-seal crap! Self leveling sealant for rooftop seams, it comes out like marshmallow fluff and settles into its spot. Uv-rated silicone for sidewalls, windows, and any other seams. Proper rubber seal moisturizer for any rubber seals around slide outs or door gaskets - NOT armor-all.

Wire brush any old sealant and dirt out first - just the loose stuff is fine - then clean with a degreaser and apply the new sealant.
 
Felt like 106* yesterday and 100* right now, ugh
 
Massive storm ripped through here about 2 hrs ago!!! Flooding rains with high winds and temp dropped 20 degrees.. Then I saw this picking up our Expedition from inspection..

It's been NOTHING but rain here... Poured here at 3:30 today and now another one rumbling off in the distance. Same forecast for next few days. UGGGH Please be nice for Carlisle...
 
3 days of mid 90’s and now a cold front is delivering flooding rains. This is not that far away just to show what’s going on…Glad we live on top of a mountain. @turbine68rt hope you are not having issues..

Not much rain here, less than an inch this week.

We've gone from too much to too little rain, my lawn needs it now.
 
We got approximately 5" of rain really fast yesterday. About 5 miles from my house the local flooding killed a boy, he got swept into a storm drain. Mt Airy md
Allof the local channels carried the story
What a tragedy

(WBFF) — A boy died after being swept into a drainage pipe in Mount Airy, a spokesman with the Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Department said.

The incident reportedly occurred just after 5 p.m. on Thursday amid major rainfall and flooding across the region.

"Everybody is shocked," the spokesman said.

I live less than an hour from Mt Airy - we got sprinkles for 5 minutes here.

Just down the mountain in Thurmont...torrential rain.

These storms are SO localized - it's crazy.
