Is a 3.19" center bore too big on a steel rim?

I'm looking at a set of steelies on Summit's site. Their computer-generated compatibility tool says they are not compatible with a '73 Charger. They're 15x8 with a 4.5" BS, so I'm assuming the center bore is the deciding factor. Will the bigger bore matter? If so, would hub rings make everything jive?

P.S... Yes, they are 4.5" lug spacing, and I won't be running center caps.

Thanks boys!

There are a lot of wheels out there with center bores that don't match vehicles. In many cases an adapter ring can be used BUT, for example, a Weld Pro-Star or Draglite use a center cap that fits from behind and renders the center bore useless for positioning trhe wheel. However, the shoulder on the lugs are a very snug fit so they center the wheel. With a tapered lug I would hope that they would serve to center the wheel.

These rims do take a 60-degree lug, so hopefully they center just fine... for rear wheels that'll be getting about 500 hp.

I have had this car over 130 mph....

....along with putting about 20,000 miles on the wheels all with only the lugs to center the wheels. These are not hub centric and they have been fine. They don't wobble and the car has no vibrations related to the wheels.
500 HP ? Yeah, I'm above that a bit but the tires don't grip as well as drag slicks so the transmission, drive shaft, U joints, axle and wheel studs don't see it all since the tires get to spinning... If the tires don't grip, the drivetrain is not feeling the whole impact of the power you're making.
Yes....hub centric is the ideal situation but it isn't everything. I've seen numerous trucks with wheels that are not hub centric, 4WDs mostly. Trucks that carry immense loads, trucks that bounce off road with huge tires and the wheels stay on.
