As far as short shorts go, if you're 55+, we Deedaws also had shorter shorts in our early adult years than they'll ever know, too...Remember those Adidas shorts with the thigh-high slits on the sides? :eek:

Plus the top car is a 70, with white letter tyres and I think the bottom one is a 68-9; dont I see a crease in the quarter maybe? But it could be theoretically, after he smoked all the white letter tyres off and started parting his hair in the middle and / or sold it to a buddy. :) That may well be a 'for sale' sign on a piece of paper listing all the wonderfulness of the car/modifications there in the qtr window...

Gonna take a guess and say this was from the ONE TIME [due to people screwing things up for everyone else] that the participants of the Car Craft Street Machine Nationals had the opportunity to lap the Brickyard one of the years it was in Indy. Wouldnt swear, just a guess. But it sure is a scene you dont see very often!
