Looking for replacement heater core for the Coronet. Only 1 I can find is AAC for $385. Seems a bit steep. I have 2 that both leak, it seems the honeycomb type is pretty non repairable. I would like a working heater someday. Any ideas guys?

Send it to Glenn Ray and have it repaired/recored.

I never thought about him I assume he just did radiators.

Bring it to your fav rad shop. I’ve rebuilt dozens of HC. It’s easy. They order the core by size, remove the tanks, vapor blast and solder back together. So yea, any radiator shop can do it. Also intercoolers, heat exchangers, etc

Theres at least 1 radiator shop in Tulsa, I will try the local shop first. If they can’t help me I’ll have to decide between new from AAC or send it to Glen ray. Both of the later are close price wise.

I still have an old school radiator shop near me. Been dealing with him for decades......... I see no reason to be shipping heater cores all over the country

I had Vinita Radiator do my '64 radiator. Looks like it was never taken apart! He's in his 80s, been doing this since.....
He also repairs heater cores.
