I recently bought a set of used/never installed wheel well opening trim. These were in the original OER packaging from Classic Industries. Part #MN1485, supposed to be for 73 and 74. When eyeballing them up to the car the rears look like they will fit ok, but the fronts look like they will need some massaging and tweaking at the lower ends of the arch. I’m concerned too much adjustment will cause trim to buckle and crease…has anyone had experience with the fitment of this aftermarket trim? Any assistance would be appreciated.

I installed aftermarket wheel opening trim on my 74 Charger. Yes, I had to massage it. The repro trim doesn't fit perfectly but is better than nothing. The profile is slightly off but as long as you are replacing all 4, it won't be noticed. I replaced mine 4 years ago. Take your time. I'm adding a few photos. Two photos show the difference in a repro piece on top compared to an original on bottom. The repro is installed on the top in photos.

Thanks Terrywalker for info. I spoke to a guy at a performance shop and he said they all fit like a piece of crap, even Chevy repro parts. 99% of repro parts come from offshore and it shows.
