Broadcast sheet decode help please

Hi Everybody, tomorrow and mate and I fly to look at a 69 RT.
Wondering if I can please have help decoding the fender tag to the build sheet.
The sequence number and order number dont match the fender tag ones which has got me a little worried and losing sleep.
The car is a survivor and all original apparently.
I will attach some photos to help.
Any help here would be hugely appreciated. Not getting much sleep over trying to work this out!

It’s pretty common for the wrong build sheet to end up in the wrong car. It happened at the factory. Also could have happened later in life if the seats got changed.

The fender tag, vin tag, trunk drip rail, radiator core support, engine and transmission should all have the last part of the vin stamped and they all should match. Engine and transmission might have the full or partial vin stamped.

Looking at the engine bay tells me it’s not an all original survivor car.

Yes, drivers side windshield, riveted to the dash frame.

The vin tag should match the fender tag.

Not the original carb, coils not mounted correctly, rubber fuel line, engine looks like it’s been painted recently? Can’t tell if the intake is aluminum or cast iron?

It does have another carb on it. He had the original. Can see distributor and fuel line isn't original ay. Alternator might bot be. Apparently done about 80,000 miles

Ignition coil, plug wires, dual feed carburetor, battery, breather….all could be changed back. Others on this site will likely see more. There are some true Charger experts on this site

It had the top end freshened up apparently. Might of been painted then.

I’m not knocking the car at all and it may very well be a nice car. I’d just be super cautious around the “survivor” status they say it has and look at it very very close. Look for paint on rubber seals, paint on door latches or strikers.

Well that means it’s not a survivor car anymore.
Again not trying to be a negative nancy, but it’s no longer a survivor car if the top end has been freshened up and repainted.

Appreciate all these tips. It apparently is original paint so will definitly check that off.

The engine bay should be the same color as the car. Is the car black? I can’t tell.

Yep all good. Good to know. To be fair that works in my favour as I wont feel so bad changing things or giving it a respray.
Numbers matching is pritty important. Just dont wont to be over paying.

Yep fender tag checks out.
Black with vinyl roof.
White seats & side wall with black interior combo.
