Okay seriously though, between the two you asked about...Marketplace hands down.
It's easy to test..just go to each one and enter your search terms. You'll find out pretty fast what a joke CL is.

A lot of scammers on Facebook, buyer beware caveat emptor
do your due diligence before you send anyone any $$$
I hear the nightmares constantly from 'faithful FB users'
you see them on here from time to time too
I hear of more scams from Facebook, then I have of Craigslist, of late
I never had any issues on Craigslist either, sold quite a few item & bought a couple too
all locally stuff
(also haven't bought anything for a long time, unless it was someone I know/knew well)
I have a pretty good eye for the scams, BS sellers
especially after talking to them
or esp. not being able to talk to them
or having to just go thru e-mails or some other BS media,
on the specific site
no real sir name, no physical address, no phone #, no personal info
or doing a photo search finding 'them exact photos they post' on FB
under someone else's or on some other site, not related at all
or sales classified elsewhere

FB market is OK, just only buy stuff you can go pick up in person. Pay in cash.
Read up about scams if you just can't live without something someone wants to ship to you and have you pay them wirelessly. I am of the opinion you will find 1% legit people selling things to ship. The other 99% will dissapear with your funds. The stories are everywhere.
CL varies by area. I can buy/sell anything on CL, but only if it is somthing an older generation might want. Kids don't use it, don't have the critical thinking skills to use it apparently.

I joined FB for only that reason, car parts. And bring someone with you or a gun.
