Leaving for Drag Week tomorrow morning. Did it last year with no trailer, trying it with the trailer this year. Got about a twenty mile test drive with the trailer, 1000 miles to get there. What could possibly go wrong?

I made it in the top 100 standby people, but I've only made one partial pass so far, so I'm sitting this one out. I will go next year!

Good luck! Post up pics, daily results, things you see, stuff that happens, etc. Inquiring minds want to know!

I'd like to try something like that here on the west coast.... but my car would fit only in a class that I would be four seconds slow, and an uncomfortable ride to boot.
Oh well.

Picture from a gas stop today. 250 miles left for tomorrow. My nephew flew out to DC to play navigator and the week.
Car is a 1966 Satellite, 383 with a 496 stroker kit, 4 speed. Added a Gearvenders and a cruise control after last year. Money well spent.

what does the 496cid 4 speed/66 Satellite run, ET/MPH & what class ?
I'm not familiar with your combo or car

the trailer was a good idea
 
I'm in street race big block na. With the 3.53 gear it should be capable of mid/low 12s. We will see what happens.I call it the lead brick. 3800lb with driver and half a tank of gas.
I did get here,1070 miles.

hope you get some good rest, in between each event too
hope for no breakage, or minor tuning, if there is anything

I hope you do well :thumbsup:
take lots of photos if you get a chance, to document the journey & event/s
