Your photo is the one for 1970 only

Ok, but I am trying to help you, round 2.

The casting number on the part you need is 2925135. For 1968-1969
The bottom edge tapers in, the one in your photo goes straight down and is for a 1970 only.

Most likely they are using a generic photo, but I'll bet you don't know these differences so now you know.

Last photo is a 1970 in the car and the 68-69 piece next to it.

In 1970 the ignition key was moved from the dash to the steering column. This change required that the diameter of the column at the top to have to be enlarged.
That is why there is a difference in the 68-69 adapters and the 70 adapter due to the change in the column diameter. I have seen 1970 cars with the 68-69 adapters on them and they obviously look incorrect.

BTTT: Yes, a 2925135 retainer/casting/mount/adapter for 1968-1969 simulated wood steering wheel is what I am looking for Thanks! Marc

I restore the wood wheels and have several very nice ones. $85 plus the ride.
Thanks! I'll take one. I have a 1970 pad adapter and the 1968/1969 horn pad won't connect to it. I am near Columbia. I'll PM YOU. Marc. PS: I just PM'd you. Your box is Full. I have a 1970 pad adapter to trade. Thank you, Marc Struglia.
