Mopar's at the valley

I went to the show, but I didn't take any pictures. Lots of cool cars, and good racing. There were a few nice Hemi cars there. Probably around 150 show cars. The swap meet was small, not any amazing finds for me. I was going to take my 2010 Challenger, but ended up taking my truck, because my friend wanted to bring me his air grabber hood for his 72 Road Runner GTX, so I could paint the underside of it for him. His car is an original N96 car, but the air grabber hood was missing and was replaced with a standard Road Runner hood. I saw a member here on Fbbo had a air grabber hood for sale in the correct color, so he picked up the hood in New Jersey last weekend. Fbbo does it again! The hood is the correct color too. Someone painted the underside white. Soon the Road Runner GTX will be back to its N96 glory! Had a great time at the show !

Cool car! It is unfortunate that the 72 cars don't seem to get the love that the 71 cars do. The 72 cars are the last examples of real muscle car Mopars where options like Dana 60 rear axles and air grabber hoods were still available. All that was gone by the 73 model year.
