I bought this off Amazon and it is well worth the $$$$$
I'm a rookie (1st water reel) so will find out. Plan to bring mine in during the winter, it's not exactly lightweight. At my age, three-years into the future being still able seems like a hope and a blessing, lol.had terrible luck with water hose reels
Rapid Reel - great stuff. Had two for ~25 years or so, sitting outside. No problems.I've had terrible luck with water hose reels.
They seem to last about 1.5 years no matter the brand or quality.
I think it has something to do with the way Florida is very unfriendly to rubber and plastic, especially if stored outdoors.
What normally happens is the pivot and connection from the inside of the reel to the actual hose breaks.
I've seen numerous others "out by the curb" with the same issue.
Quit buying them after the third one.
One of these days, I'll get around to mounting a rally wheel on the side of the house.
