I am selling a 727 with a Gear Vendors overdrive that I removed from a motorhome. I can't say anything about the condition of the parts other than I saw the motorhome move, under it's own power about 200 feet to load onto a trailer. The seller said everything worked fine before the motorhome was used as a residence for a long while.

I removed all of the GV accessories. One wire was gnawed through by something but should be easy to repair. This is an older unit, I assume analog. The torque converter comes with it (engine was cast crank). I really don't want to ship this and am pretty sure it wouldn't be cost effective in any case.

I don't know much about these setups and can't say for sure if this will work in a B Body as is. I will try to answer what questions I can.

The transmission is in Napa, California.

$1000.00

440 cast crank, motorhome engine. I think it was about a 1975 but I can't say.
Edit:
Based on what looks like "5259" on the transmission stamping, the 10,000 day calendar says it was born 12/21/75

How hard is it to install that set up in a 1971-72 b-body? What parts are needed. I’m short bus smart tool wise, so I gotta ask.

Having never done it, I am probably the wrong guy to ask. Everything I read about installing these in 68 B Bodies mentioned having to whack a small dent or two in the transmission tunnel to clear. Obviously, drive shaft needs to be shortened. There is a splitter that goes in the speedometer cable to apparently give the GV unit some indicator of speed. I am sure the instructions for the wiring are out there somewhere. I know we aren't supposed to comment on "for sale" ads, but if someone has first hand knowledge, good or bad, I welcome the input.
