Having a class A CDL, any speeding tickets driving anything is verboten for me.
What I don't get is why the perp didn't see the parked in the median LEO and at least drop his speed and stop lane changing?
If he did see the LEO and was slowing down how much faster was he going than 107mph?
In college in the early 70's I got clocked SB on I75 in Georgia by VASCAR doing 107 mph, however Vascar measures average speed over a fixed distance.
Good thing because I saw on the side of the road the parked LEO and was heavy on the brakes, because I was doing over 120 mph.
He gave me a break and wrote the ticket for 98mph.:bananadance:

After banging gears in my Charger without letting off the pedal on the right, I got pulled over by a cop. Age 16 and only had the car two weeks. I told the cop that I was just learning how to drive a clutch. He chuckled and said you're learning pretty fast, and then he wrote me a ticket.

No big deal, I cut my own
I have for the past 30 years, flattop
Wahl #4 (1/2") front tapered back & #3 (3/8" for the flattop part) on the top
#2 (1/4") everywhere else sides & back

 :usflag:

so when I get caught going 107, I'm screwed

I guess that police officer just doesn't appreciate the feel and importance of a fresh haircut.............. I will say, the other day Theresa and I were out and about, coming back from a friends. It was about 40 miles by highway, in our Durango. I was just cruising alone and looked down and I was doing 87.

Some cars/trucks are just like that, lol.
The chrysler 300 we got for my wife is simular . You look at the speedo and back off.

Same with my Hellcat Charger. With our old iron, combining wind noise and the sound of the engine screaming, you knew when you were hauling.

You need bigger tires.
The stock tires are 32” diameter.
I was running 28” tall Drag radials at the track (2wd) , I trapped at 92MPH but the speedometer was around 105MPH, very close to bouncing off the FSL. I hear the newer trucks/cars will automatically compensate for tire height without speedometer calibration.
