I think he is asking about electrostatic coating. Simular to powder coating.
Some of the farm related equipment manufacturing around here use it.
Tool bars , wagon gear / frames and small parts ect.
I am not aware of any business in this area doing cars or auto parts just factory production stuff.
I've seen thousands of vehicles ecoated in my time and even sent personal items through the bath at work. In ten years it won't really make a difference. In my case it was Dodge trucks and vans, they all rust in due time. Just my opinion.
I had a 68 charger done back in 2016, the car was taken to toledo to american metal cleaning, dipped in an akaline bath. less aggressive than acid so I'm told. Then coated with a rust inhibitor. I did the metal replacement, then took it to ft wayne Indiana where ity was chemically stripped and cleaned caoted with nickel phospate, then dipped in a e coat bath positive charged black primer and car grounded. The tank wasn't that wide so the car was dipped with a crane sideways. Can't beat the dip in my opinion it encapsulated all the metal inside and out. the car has a new home in the high mountain desert in New Mexico now. saw the car this spring on a lift absolute nothing coming back through. Not sure of the name in Ft. wayne for the e coat guy but you could call American metal cleaning in toledo and they may be able to help.
