I figured I would formally follow through as I finally signed up after visiting for quite some time. Yes, I do like B-bodies and our 70 Charger is part of the family. We are in the process of resurrecting as it was more than heavily damaged in the Sonoma County Tubbs Firestorm 2017. To be fair; like many of the forum participants we are a family with the ailment that "anything can be fixed". It is a disease. My brother and I cut our teeth on my dads 36 Dodge & 36 Plymouth restoration. Back then lots of Naval Jelly and liquid rubber. I stayed Mopar with vans, C & B bodies. My brother more Bow-ties or any car really. The van & Newport covered in slumber needing work to one day hit the road again.....Take care. Jim

in NorCal Sierras, Tuolumne Co. East of Sonora, between towns
a few ridges NE over from Yosemite, like 50 miles as the crow flies

I remember reading about that fire, up & over there
glad you still have the car, even if damaged,
where in Sonoma Co. are you ?

Thanks for the note. Fires are a Calif issue for all of us. We are in Santa Rosa. Note sure how to post pics yet. Will work on it. I can only let people know there are fires and there are firestorms. Our firestorm had 80mph winds, embers the size of footballs flying horizontally. Temps at 2K+F We left the house at 2:15a.m; our entire tract was gone by 3:30p.m, As dear Spock would say. "Fascinating"..
 
Welcome and so do I. I have two 70 Chargers. The red Charger I have had since I was a teenager in high school and still unrestored. The second Charger I am still gathering up parts for it's restoration. It is a disease for sure. 5 of my 8 hot rods pictured together. And, the other 3 that are in storage.
