Red is tricky. A shade off it comes out too loud.

Green is another tricky color. A shade off it looks like sadness.

Blue or black is a safer bet.

yesterday I got into a grey truck (not thrilled about it) .......... it was pouring down rain....... it was dark.....everything, every car was grey

I pulled into Home Depot and everything was balck/white/grey.........except for one red pu truck, stuck out like a sore thumb,

it seemed back in the day 20% of the cars were red

at least the traffic lights look nice

My'97 Camaro SS is red. I noticed the advertisements of the time showed either the red or the white and orange anniversary models. Those orange and white cars have appreciated faster than red. At the time, I thought they looked garish. but sometimes that works as in the Super Bird and Daytona. You could get the LT4 that was underrated at 345 hp. Those things are $$$$$$$now.

In the 90s I used white and blue lacquer on a Baja bug, learned about the snot thing when I blew my nose and saw those same colors.

Only red car in the current fleet is in a lame tomato soup color, looks a little better in this pic compared to real life.
