when you have it on the hoist loosen the bolts on the pressure plate evenly until there just finger tight! how far is the plate off the flywheel...
did you check timing advance when you did ignition replacement if you did and all good then I'd do a compression test and then pull rocker covers...
did you pull the breather to see if there's a nest in it!
