Now that I think more about it, I believe I’m thinking of the turn signal lever attaching screw might be where I adjusted the torque. I think you are right about this and my roadrunner could be the same as your A100.
I had an issue similar to this. I was able to track it down to the turn signal switch either being too tight or loose. I put a mirror behind my car and tightened the screw to where everything was working correctly. For me, the right amount of torque on the turn signal switch was the key...
I’m trying to help my good friend with his 68 roadrunner and we are trying to gather necessary parts under the horn button to get the horn working. His steering wheel is standard but no horn parts are present. A parts listing would be golden. Thanks!!!
The Chrysler starter caught a lot of flack due to its sound but what I never understood why the old GM starter got a pass. That thing sounded like a tin can full of marbles and chewed many starter ring gears to pieces.
