Are you talking about Acrylic Urethane single stage ? I have been cleaning and sanding the he!! out of everything....This car will not defeat me !....and It will get finished, and do not plan to sell it....might want to burn it to the ground sometimes...but would not want anything else ...

There weren't any rubber on the rear openings in 1962. They came later. Do you see any holes for clips?

On a 62 the fronts are metal, the rears are rubber. I think these are the ones: Mopar 63-66 A Body and 62-65 B Body Frame Torsion Bar Splash Shields
