    '62 dash light question..

i don't think removing the cluster is necessary. i think you only need to remove the plastic gauge bezel to access the bulbs. the heater bulb is inside a steel light deflector and the shifter bulb is located at the center of the plastic push buttons where they join to the shifter. most dash...

By application the one I linked above is for Power disc brakes, This one is listed for manual disc brakes. BUT it has the larger piston / bore size. Which is not ideal for manual disc brake converted car. At least so I am told. I went with the smaller bore size on the car . And had no...

See what is available in the aftermarket, as far as replacement sheet METAL. I would stay away from fiberglass.

    You can't put a 383 in a Dart...

Probably one of the reasons Ma Mopar made the 67's wider. New model change so bigger engines could be installed. The competition was doing it. Take the 67 and newer Mustangs. No more 289's ilike in the 66's. The 67 Chevelles got a 396 and the Pontiacs already had a big V8.

Vintage Air installation in a 1968 Satellite

Yes, I agree that I was blessed that KD took on this job. I've done a lot of hands on work on my car in my small garage with not many tools, but I knew from watching another friend add A/C to his A-body that this is one headache I would rather farm out. Since Greg had recently retired and I had...

    1968 Plymouth GTX

Push, pull, tug, loosen, retighten and repeat. This is a close as I can get it and I'm not happy with it. The drip rail seal doesn't look right and I'm not sure the fit at the top of the vent window is correct either.

    You can't put a 383 in a Dart...

An August 1966 Plymouth press release stated the 383 was going to be made available in the new 1967 Plymouth Barracuda 'only.' Chrysler knew a 383 would fit in a Dart, and offered it later in the model year, February 67 iirc. They are the same car, Chrysler just wanted to put the new Barracuda...
