    CLUTCH PEDAL

What's happening is the Over Center spring for the pedal is releasing pressure from the spring load of the plate and allowing slip. It need to be adjusted properly to have the OC spring pull the pedal to the up stop. That spring works in both directions. It helps your leg release the disc...

Holley Carb 2300 2BBL Fuel Bowl slowly draining internally!?

Possible you just have a faulty metering block leaching your fuel without pressure. I think I'd try red dye in mineral spirits to verify.

Open up the oil filter to see what's in it. If it's a knocking noise, check for a loose torque converter bolt if auto.

    1969-1970 BB flywheel question?

I believe the 143 tooth FW was typically used with a 11" disc setup and cast iron '68-'69 bells. Since the diameter of the 143 FW is larger diameter than a 130 FW, the starter is located further out by necessity. Aftermarket scatter shields can accommodate both FW sizes in most cases. The 130...

Holley Carb 2300 2BBL Fuel Bowl slowly draining internally!?

If it's impossible it just takes longer. Keep the fuel out of the crankcase! Take the carb off the engine and work it on a stand. Use mineral spirits with some dye instead of gas for visual leak testing. Out of the box...... Have you checked the metering block and body face for flatness...
