rear exterior lower window trim removal?

If it's anything like my 62 there are clips screwed into the body. The clips are in-between the seal/body. Cannot remove clips without removing window/seal. I located the clips with a small pick, and using pressure on either side of each clip carefully popped the trim off.

62 Plymouth sedan rear seat lower cushion fit ?

My 62 back seat bottom frame. This came out of my 4 door parts car, which I used to replace the rusted one in my 2 door, they were identical. In pic frame is upside down.

62 Plymouth sedan rear seat lower cushion fit ?

The frame could be bent, broken, or rusted. The factory put a large piece of foam under the center section of the seat, but I never understood how that could have added any additional support. Maybe junior used to stand there when riding in the back with no seat belt.

62 Plymouth sedan rear seat lower cushion fit ?

On my Dart 2 door, I had to fix the upholstery job done when I got it back. The back cover was too high up leaving a gap and exposing the staples. Also my lower seat frame was rotted and 'fixed' but I found and replaced with a good frame. After that, I fixed it without any issues.

    62 Dart fan shroud

In my 62 Dart, converted to a bb, aluminum radiator and factory fan, no overheating issues. But, if I were to install a new fan it would be the same as my a-body (except iirc the fan clutch would not be the low profile version, so a different part #). In my 67 383 a-body, I have the factory bb...

    Vintage Mopar Muscle

My friend has owned this car for decades, he is a hardcore Mopar guy. He says it is not a factory altered car, however is was built with factory altered parts. Just the rear is done. Parked next to my wagon, before I bought it from him. He knows his stuff, were 'altered' parts available?

    62 dodge 3 speed console

My understanding is, it is just a floor hump for the early 3 speed, just like the later 4 speeds had 'humps' for the floor. Although I believe they were not screwed down, at least from the top, definitely not welded in, here is an original 62 with the hump 3 speed. Looks like carpet, but not...

    1962 dodge/plymouth window interchangeability?

Yes. 4 door and 2 door as well. Rear windows are incredibly easy to r&r, the rear seal is actually 2 pieces, center section pulls out completely. Windshield is simple to swap, just don't follow the fsm and try to install top first, install bottom first.

    62 Owners/Restorers/Experts Moulding Clip

Various 62 Dart clips. The 4 on the left were in a bag labelled 'eyebrow trim' but iirc the clips with the foam on them were used for the side trim as well, or similar. I'm still convinced the ends of the trim, as well as the curved pieces, were held on with flat stock and a threaded stud, as...

    62 Owners/Restorers/Experts Moulding Clip

I believe on my 62 4 door parts car it was a flat piece with a threaded stud, iirc it stuck through on the back edge of the door, easy to unscrew. Iirc my 2 door hardtop was the same, wider trim though. Most of the trim the edges were threaded stud type, the rest where clips. I had to make all...

63 slant direct drive starter upgrade

I did not know about early Mopar/Canadian direct drive starters. Found this info: There is no parts store off-the-shelf starter that will directly replace the early-type \6 starter. If you want to run a mini starter, you'd either need to custom-build one or swap in a torque converter or...

    Rear drum stuck?

I agree and disagree. Leaf springs limiting factor, yes, however the 62 rear is very narrow, so the rim can come out farther as well. I have a later rear in my 64 and my 62 can hands down take a much larger wheel/tire. In my 62, I just swapped out the tapered axles with Dr Diff parts. On...
