Where did you and your car go today

Went to a "Postponed" car show  The show was advertised two weeks ago with a rain date this Saturday. It rained last Saturday. So this Friday afternoon I gave the '62 a sponge bath, dusted the interior. Got up Saturday morning to blue skies and sunshine. Not calling for any rain until...

Coolant from exhaust header stud bolt

Permatex #2 never totally hardens. It's almost like pipe dope. No silicone, more of a tar substance. It's been around a lot longer than me.

Coolant from exhaust header stud bolt

I'd remove the header and do a close inspection of that hole. If it has a crack you might be chasing your tail. If it is cracked you might be able to repair it in the car.

I made the mistake of driving by the last place I owned. It was bad enough having to see what happened to the home farm after it was sold. What's with people now days?

68 RM23 Roadrunner, The rebuild of an old friend

Man I feel bad about not following along on this build. Last time I checked in was when you were block sanding. Beautiful paint, color and detail! I love how you incorporated the blue pinstripe into the paint instead of using vinyl tape. That's extra work and the final results are definitely...

    Advice on this......

'64 Dodge? You can try removing what's peeling off and spray paint a metallic silver for a temporary fix. Just peel it off with your fingers and don't scratch it. It might not all come off but just get what's loose. Spray dry coats as not to cause a reaction with what's on there. One dry coat...
