    383 Mopar Rebuild Help

Just my opinion but Stroke that 383. I think 440 Source can get you 490 something inches out of that 383.

    No charging

If I am reading the problem correctly, I would check out the bulkhead connector for corrosion etc. where the black alt. Wire goes into it.

    NAPA GOLD FILTERS........... AHHHH NO

That is such a tragic and sickening story of govt failure to its own economic drivers at the homeland. Remember a guy named Ross Perot - and the term “A giant sucking sound”? How prophetic was that? For those of us old enough to know and care it’s a terrible prophesy come true to a worse case...

    What is this?

Found it: It belongs to the heater control valve. I saw a picture on the internet and saw that it belongs there. Here my picture: I am about to rebuild the complete heaterbox. I already restored a couple of parts. There are some parts that are missing and my question is, if someone did a...

    440 valve failure

1979 Dodge Magnum 360-727 torqueflite squeaking in R,D,2,1

The only power to the transmission would be the neutral start and backup light plug. And it isn't "using" any power, just switching it to other areas.

Installing Classic Auto Air in a '70 Charger

I just spoke with Dwight from Classic Auto Air. It is common for people to service these systems like they would a traditional A/C system but he said that their system is slightly different. Because I am not trained or skilled with A/C systems, I am relying on help from others. Here is where...

1979 Dodge Magnum 360-727 torqueflite squeaking in R,D,2,1

Does the transmission draw power from the Alternator? I put it back together and test drove it. When cold no noise but when warm/normal temp it sounds. It is hot today so I turned on the AC and I am getting the same squeaking noise. With the AC on if I give it gas off idle the noise seems...

What did you do to your Mopar today?

Drove the Wrangler to a local HD store, to get transmission parts for one of the motorcycles. 8,000 miles in 28 years, and needle bearings tend to drain and dry out...and get upset when you start using them again. So, one new main shaft output shaft assembly, spacer, oil seals, and case gaskets...

    383 Mopar Rebuild Help

You said you wanted a little more cam. Ok the old Mopar P4120235 or P5007697 (or something like that) would be good. That is a stock Street Hemi grind. .484" lift 241 duration. Simple, friendly and easy. If your heads need anything to speak of, and they probably will, I would buy new stealth...
