    What is this?

I can not tell you. If I had to guess, I would say 62-65 is the same.

    Frying noise from steering wheel?

Does the roller on the horn contact run freely? Maybe a small amount of di-electric grease will help it stay nice for longer. Unless it is shadows.....looks like a small flat spot on top of the roller to me.

    Frying noise from steering wheel?

Hm, could that small wear really make that noise? Well, ive got a new adaptor on the shelf so will try that one. No, solder joint runs free. No problem there.

    Quiet electric fuel pump?

I recently swapped out the Bosch inline on the chassis rail to an in-tank Holley pump. I can hardly hear the in-tank pump. I don't mind a hint of sound, but anything on the chassis rail will be annoying. I am very happy with my swap. BTW ..... Warning to everyone...stay well clear of the...

    Quiet electric fuel pump?

The BEST pump is the Carter Electric pump, either 72 or 100 GPH versions. It is the only external pump that I am aware of that has the fuel circulating through the electrical section. This does a number of things: lubes the bearings, cools the motor & eliminates the seal between the elec & pump...

Looking for Cam type/size opinions and help

What intake / carb? and has the distributor be re-curved? A good tune can make a difference if everything is still stock. If the engine has the stock valve springs, I would change them, or at least check their pressures / adjust install height if needed (and if it would work?) I would use the...

Looking for Cam type/size opinions and help

There isn't a cam made that will turn a 318 in a heavy car...into a winner. Nitrous is the only bolt on that would make a substantial improvement.

How do you get a very sticky glue like substance off interior plastic - Anyone

If you are looking for something that is non-hazardous.....try some good old-fashioned steam from a boiling kettle. Now I suppose OSHA will get involved as you get 3rd degree burns on your hand.....but at least the burns won't be cancer-causing.

How do you get a very sticky glue like substance off interior plastic - Anyone

    NAPA GOLD FILTERS........... AHHHH NO

Probably, but the other day I went for a new shovel for my garden and paid twice as much for one made in Canada instead of opting for the Chinese alternative.

440 Source vs Hughes stroker kit

I have your books, but it seems everyone is going social media these days? What did you think of the HXL / HXX cam profiles?

    Quiet electric fuel pump?

I had issues with the Edelbrock Quiet-flo pump staying primed. Maybe my new pump was defective, but not impressed with the Edelbrock pump. The Mallory 250 pump is a good pump, and for its size is quieter than many other pumps like the Hollys, but it is not quiet. For quiet, an in-tank Walbro...

    Frying noise from steering wheel?

You can actually see the wear already on the inside of the copper disc... Is the head of that solder joint contacting anything like the red terminal point or the plastic of the turn-cancel mechanism?

    Frying noise from steering wheel?

That's the same one I have for my A100 for when I change the steering wheel over.

73/74 people with big blocks and factory wire looms, What plug wires are you running?

The 440 engine has come in numerous bodies and configurations, so it may be a stretch finding a set that will fit your exect 440 configuration. These cut-to-fit sets are pretty decent. You usually only cut one end, the distributor end. By mixing around the wires (of varying lengths) in the...

11 PSI fuel pressure at the carb

Lot of cheap two port regulators on the market. Holley and a dozen knock offs. They are a very simple part and pretty trouble free and easy to adjust.
