I agree. Not sure how or why the GTO gets credit for starting the muscle car craze.
I also love the 62's. As I always say, they are so ugly that they are cool.
My parents said that I used to buy up all the Chargers hot wheels cars as a kid before I even knew what a Charger was. I bought my first real Charger when I was 15 before Ieven had my drivers license. A TX9 440 70 R/T and have had at least one Charger in my ownership and still own two 70...
My Hemi in my Challenger, my 440 Six Pack on my Charger, my 383 with NOS in my Roached Runner and a few more (another Hemi, 440 w/EFI and another 383) waiting on stands for other project cars to be done.
I almost went with a Cowl hood on my Challenger after seeing one on a Cuda on Moparts it didn't look half bad. I just couldn't do it though. HEMI's always do the talking. So does mine.
Damn, that is cool. I hope to have one someday completed. I just picked up a 63 Belvedere from a buddy of mine that I plan on doing a M.W. tribute car out of it.
Awesome 62. I love 62's. I just picked up a 63 Belvedere and will be making a Max Wedge tribute car out of it. Who and where has the upper end parts to get me started, intake, linkages, manifolds, etc?
